Caribbean Park kicked off the new year with a relaxed Welcome Back Sausage Sizzle at the South BBQ area, welcoming over 300 people from across the precinct. With sunshine overhead and a steady summer breeze, it was an easy excuse to step away from the desk, reconnect and ease back into the year ahead.
What really stood out was the turnout from right across the estate. With tenants spread across our 500 acre precinct, it means a lot when people make the effort to come together, and it was great to see so many familiar faces in one place.
Guests settled in across the podium, pod seating and nearby viewing area, making the most of the open layout and the park setting. Lunch was a classic done well, quality sausages in bread with onions, cheese and condiments, along with soft drinks throughout the afternoon. While the line was busy early, it moved quickly and the atmosphere stayed relaxed and upbeat.
The South BBQ area is available for tenant hire and can be booked via the portal.
Australian Open Viewings
To coincide with the Australian Open, a dedicated viewing space was set up nearby, featuring a large screen and shaded seating under umbrellas and a marquee. It became a casual hub where people could pause, follow the matches and soak up the atmosphere as they moved through the precinct.
Afternoon viewings were rounded out with complimentary icy poles, a small but popular addition in the warm summer conditions.
The Welcome Back BBQ was a simple reminder of what Caribbean Park does best, creating great spaces, fostering genuine community and adding moments that make the workday feel lighter.
