Caribbean Park featured on The Place Makers, a new television show that explores how imagination and clever design are creating places that matter.

CBRE’s Senior Managing Director, Amanda Steele, takes us through Australia’s finest examples of new precincts for new generations, reimagining existing places that bring in the community, and offices that reset the culture for the future of the workplace.

The first episode aired late last year and featured some of the most influential place makers, such as Charter Hall, Mirvac, The Grollo Group, Lendlease, Frasers Property, the creators of the James Street precinct and REA Group.

The second episode showcases a number of Australia’s finest work places including Caribbean Park’s world-class office precinct. This episode aired on Channel 10, Sunday 5th, August 2018.

3:00pm: Course pull down – all help appreciated

REGS:
· Start procedures: – The Chief Commissaire will separate grades and send them away in waves if grade numbers are sufficient. Small grades may be combined.

SPECIAL NOTICES (TBC)

· CX bikes must run CX tyres – 35mm max width (as written on tyre with tiny allowance for tyre flare on wide rims). Definitely no gravel grinder or Monster Cross tyres in CX Race Category. Riders can race Opens with any tyre, any bike.

· PITS will be in operation: – As is the tradition in Cross, mechanical assistance must be taken from the designated pit area. Spare wheels & bike changes cannot be taken from random locations on the course – only in the pits. Riders must run the course to the pits if their bike is unrideable. We will run double-sided pits so the max distance to pits should be no more than half a lap depending on course layout.

· Series Races – minimum ages? – Open category races are not part of the VIC CX Series points aggregate and are regarded as ‘club racing’ categories. The minimum age for Series races is U17. Older juniors (say U15), with suitable experience, looking to race the full course for a full race duration can enter Opens.
