Family alliance with Monash Health Foundation

With a rich history in philanthropy, the Spooner family – owners of Caribbean Park – are building  a relationship with Victoria’s largest public health provider, Monash Health.

The alliance with the Monash Health Foundation, will see the Spooners spearhead fund raising for the establishment of a new stand-alone Paediatric Emergency Department.

Monash Health provides comprehensive world class care across the age spectrum and the new Paediatric Emergency Department, which is under construction, will allow for the care of 7000 more children each year.

Family matriarch Janet Spooner, awarded an OAM for years of charitable service to Victoria, will champion this new relationship with the Foundation.

“Our family believes in the value of community and the importance of giving and being an active contributor to its growth.  This is such a wonderful opportunity to make a real difference to the healthcare in our community”.

Whilst a family initiative, Caribbean Park will adopt Monash Health Foundation as its charity partner going forward.
